- “TOMB+ritual” in the Art in the Metroplex 2002 Twentieth Annual Competition. The blind competition is sponsored by TCU and the Templeton Art Center. The project, one of 36 chosen, was selected from 600 entries. September 7-27, 2002.
- “A Tree’s House” installed at the Stone Quarry Hill Art Park following an international competition juried by Mary-Elizabeth Lang. The sculpture was selected for semi-permanent installation (5-10 years) in Cazenovia, New York. Installed with the assistance of Richard Atchison and local volunteers. The collages and model for the competition submission were exhibited at the SQHAP from June 15, 2002 to August 15, 2002. Publication of work in the exhibition catalog – Tree House: Shelter, Stage, Sanctuary published by SQHAP.
