Abundant shade and an exuberant dog made plant growth near impossible in this back yard setting.  Existing paths were retained and two types of stone were introduced for durability.  New land forms were devised to create a play area for pets and children alike....

This interior remodel features an internally lit shelf/screen at the front entry.  An indoor/outdoor connection is achieved at the Master Bath with spatial alignments and compatible material selections....

This new house is a study in low horizontal architecture.  The living spaces are punctuated by courts, porches, gardens and a clerestory window.  A raised herb garden is located near the kitchen.  Metal details evoke the local vintner tradition....

The wide open loft offered the opportunity to define space with furniture and art.  A mural along one wall is paired with a ping-pong table.  Fabric panels are placed at one wall to denote the sleeping area....

This courtyard house design emphasizes the low horizontals of the East Texas delta landscape with views to an adjacent golf-course.  The vertical pines surrounding the house are echoed in the tall family area where kitchen, dining and entertaining are combined in one space....
